You should you should, I have been recommanding Death Note to every manga/anime fan I see XD it has been a while since I did this to any manga/anime. DN is really very different from most manga...and it just grabs your attention right till the end (of the latest chapter). I was doing my econ paper when I started reading it for a distraction...and that was fatal ^^'' I couldn't withdraw from it...and there goes my econ paper XD
To be honest, I have not got around to reading any Death Note yet: it is on my `list of manga to check out', but I have not been reducing that list often enough of late. Perhaps I should try to make a hurry on this series sometime soon :)
